Fairies are intrigued by humankind and our various quirks and peculiarities. Take our houses for example. While fairies like to home themselves within the recycled scraps of nature and the dense-yet-spongy bowels of mushrooms, we humans build our homes from brick, felled trees, concrete, and steel. Therefore it’s become quite fashionable within the fairy realm to copy us, and create homes to resemble cottages and villas. (Note: Fairies still all that fond of modern architecture, and prefer to model their homes after the quaint English cottages of yesterday. Can’t say I blame them!)
