With their lore of all things that grow in the dirt tucked neatly away in their crafty minds, these gnomes have mastered the art of looking like they’re being useful, without actually doing anything at all. The main benefit to having one of these guys in your garden is that they can transform any small landscape into a fairy garden, simply by holding up a toadstool ‘fairy garden’ sign. The soil and shrubbery holds nothing to indicate there’s a fairy garden in its vicinity? Well, the sign says it’s a Fairy Garden, so it must be true!
Sidenote: Gnomes are notoriously fond of a game similar to Paper, Scissors, Rock. However in the Gnome version, they each point a finger on the count of three. As they only ever point the same one finger, this is a game that often takes hours to resolve and is in fact only ever done so once the game evolves into another, slightly more violent one, known as Fisty-Cuffs.
